To have the Final Demo on Monday makes me very tired. It take a long time to prepare it, make the properties, power point, worksheet, and also practice teaching.

But I need to prepare it well, I hope it will be lessen the mistakes like I did when my first day teaching.

The problem is I can’t find my eyeglasses. I remember exactly that last night I just put it on the table. I only found unknown eyeglasses. I think it is Ma’am Dena’s and she brought mine last night.

At the evening Erwin and Ami returning back her eyeglasses, they just meet her at the grocery and Ma’am Dena was look like very busy. So I can’t get my eyeglasses yet.

Saturday, February 10, 2018.

I meet Ma’am Olive and she checks my lesson plan for Monday. She explains each points and gives the idea. She gives me 1 hour 30 minutes to fix the lesson plan and 15 minutes to prepare for deliver it like pre-final demo. I don’t bring the book and I don’t have load. I have to complete my lesson plan that time. I am very thankful that I am not alone. I am with my buddy and he helps me a lot.

Just using my notebook without the charger we try to fix it as soon as possible before my notebook dies.

Still lucky that I have time to show the lesson plan to Ma’am Olive first. While she is looking for the classroom for me, I just remembering the point of my lesson plan, because my notebook is low battery.

It is very nervous, I am feel more nervous than the first day teaching a few days ago. However I have to deliver my lesson plan in front of my Supervising Officer, even I think I haven’t enough time to prepare it well. After first trial, she gives the comment and shows me how to do it, delivery a lesson more interactive.

At five o’clock I ask to Ma’am Olive if I can go and stop it now, I tell her that I am very tired already. She allows me to go and gives some advice about my final demo, because we will only meet again on Monday, the Day of Final Demo.

We go back home after dinner. After I feel in better mood than before dinner. I forget about our plan to go to River Bank after my Pre-final Demo. I feel guilty to my friends who are waiting. When I arrive at home I just feel sorry and explain to them what was happened this day.

Even though I am very tired and just want to sleep this night, but I can’t. I have to make the properties for the activities on Final Demo. My buddies help me again.

Friday, February 9, 2018.

There is SSG election today, so I don’t teach at Acacia. I just watch them until they count the voting.

At Gemelina I give them a new exercise. The latest I have been made for this topic. This time that Ma’am Olive watch me just for a while.

After class she wants me to meet her. She ask me about the previous topic first and then we discuss about my final demo. To make sure that I am ready for Monday, she wants me to go to Sta. Elena high School tomorrow to present it first in front of her.

We made an appointment to meet at 1.30 p.m. at school.

Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Today My CT has an activity for her classes. So I just observe her and then assist her for giving instructions to other section.

My CT doesn’t always accompany me for each classes today. She said that I should have my own time to speak with students, just for feel free.

When I give her my lesson plan, she wants me to prepare it well. She gives me suggestion to use more visual aids for lessen the mistakes.
She gives me an example of her lesson plan. She made it weekly. But she says that I have to make it daily and make it detailed.

And she said that I have to meet Ma’am Lomibau for discussing about my schedule for the final demo. Ma’am Lomibao is The Head Mathematics Teacher in Sta. Elena High School.

Ma'am Lomibao said that she wants to watch me tomorrow for checking my voice.

It means I have to prepare something for my class tomorrow.

At my vacant, I go to canteen with Ivy (she is my buddy also). This is my favorit. Kikiam. 10 pesos only.

Amy and Erwin go first to Sta. Elena High School in the morning. I plan to go to Roosevelt directly from Nangka. But I don’t know how to get there. So I just go to Sta. Elena High School first by Jeepney and then go to Roosevelt together with Ami and Erwin. And also Ivy (our buddy) accompany us.

We plan to go to somewhere after the meeting finished. But until the time was 5 o’clock, the meeting it still running. We decided to get out because we already very hungry.

We just looking for the nearest restaurant here, and we found Mc. Donalds.

On the way we go home we try a street food. It is call Isaw. It is chicken intestine wrapped in flour.

Actually it is not a rest day. It is just a day without teaching. I am so tired to finish my lesson plan for final demo tonight.

Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

We go to Roosevelt at the morning to meet The Principal. Because we haven't meet yet. 

After that Ma'am Dena bring us to take breakfast at Starbucks cafe.

Ami and I have class at 2 p.m. So we just wait in Roosevelt, and making our lesson plan.

Monday, February 5, 2018.

And we did it. We arrive at Sta. Elena High School safely using Jeepney. It is a great experience. When I say “Bayad po. Dalawa. Sta. Elena High School” by myself. It is like I am a Filipino.

Sunday, February 4, 2018.

We are not going anywhere. Sunday is washing day.

On Saturday and Sunday we don’t go to school.

Ma’am Dena (Coordinator from RCI) always ask us to go to somewhere on Saturday. And today we go to UP (University of The Philippines). But unfortunately Ma’am Dena can’t go with us. Only Ma’am Dena’s husband drive us today. It takes one hour from Ateneovillage.

Then we go to Ateneo de Manila University. Mr. Culaba works here as a lecturer. So we can get access to tour in campus. It is a big campus with many facilities that needed for students.
